This Project Directors Manual (PDM) was developed to assist the campus community in understanding the grantsmanship process and to provide a vehicle for documenting and disseminating related policies, procedures, and requirements governing the activity.  The PDM was published July 1, 2005.  It is a dynamic document which continues to be updated to comply with changes and to implement improvements in accuracy and usefulness.  Links that are being developed are highlighted in yellow which will be removed when they are verified and activated.

The policies and procedures contained in this Manual provide information for the processing of proposals and for administration of grants and contracts and other sponsored activities.  To assist you in finding the information you need, this site has a Table of Contents and search component (Search the Manual) on every page. Additionally, you may navigate to Appendix A. Index and Acronyms List from the bottom of the Table of Contents.

Revisions will be published, as needed, to keep the information up to date.  All changes will be identified in the Changes and Updates section.  In an attempt to make this site as user-friendly as possible, you may report errors or provide recommended improvements to this Manual by following the appropriate links in the menu that appears along the top of the pages throughout this site. Of course, you may always contact this Office directly by phone at (850) 474-2824 with your comments and concerns or for help in locating information on a particular topic related to research and sponsored programs and we welcome your suggestions.
